What you need to watch
Three things: a device, an app and a steady internet connection. For smooth HD, aim for at least 30 Mbps reaching the TV or box itself — test it by opening fast.com in that device's browser.
- A device: a smart TV (Samsung, LG, Sony), an Android box, a MAG or Formuler box, a Firestick, a phone, tablet or computer.
- An app such as IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, MYTVOnline, STB Emulator Pro or Smart STB — or a ready-made box that comes set up.
- Home internet — cable, fibre or condo Wi-Fi all work. A wired connection to the TV fixes most buffering.
