Service down

IPTV not working? Start here.

Before you pay anyone anything, find out which problem you have. Either your service has gone dark, or something at your end needs ten minutes of attention. The two checks below tell you which, and both fixes are on this page.

One minute

Two checks before anything else

Nearly every dead IPTV falls into one of two piles: the service is gone, or the setup needs a nudge. These two questions sort you into the right pile.

1

Is anything else streaming?

Open YouTube or Netflix on the same TV or box. If they play normally, your internet is fine and the problem is your IPTV account or its app. If everything stutters, start with your internet: open fast.com in the browser on that device and look for at least 30 Mbps.

2

What exactly does the app say?

The message is the diagnosis. "Expired", "subscription ended" or "account not found" points at your provider. "Invalid credentials" usually means a typo or a changed password. A channel list that loads but nothing plays is almost always the connection, not the account. No list at all, or a spinning circle forever, means the server your app is pointed at is not answering.

One more, if you are still unsure: try the same login on your phone over mobile data, with the home Wi-Fi switched off. If it fails there too, the account is the problem, not your house.

Pile one

If your provider has gone

Services do shut down, and they rarely announce it. You are looking for a pattern rather than one bad evening:

  • Emails, texts or WhatsApp messages have gone unanswered for days.
  • Their website, payment page or reseller panel is down or has vanished.
  • Your account says expired even though you paid for months you have not used.
  • Everyone else you know on the same service went dark at the same time.

If that is your situation, the useful advice is short. Do not send another e-transfer to an address that has stopped replying. Do not buy new hardware — you almost certainly do not need any. Switching is a matter of new login details, not new equipment.

Switching without losing your box

1

Keep your box. Really.

An Android box, XTV, MAG, Formuler, Firestick or Smart TV is just hardware running an app. It is not locked to the company that sold it to you. Tell us what you own and we send the settings for that exact device.

2

Start the free 24-hour trial

No card, no deposit. We email login details, usually the same day, with every channel and the whole movie and series library open so you can test the ones you actually watch.

3

Type the new details in and watch

In most apps it is one screen: server, username, password. If your old provider has left the app in a mess, our guides reset it cleanly. Paid accounts are normally live 15 to 20 minutes after payment.

Pile two

If it is your internet or your app

Good news: this is free to fix, and you do not have to be our customer to use the guides below. Find the symptom you have.

Not working with Rogers or Bell?

It works on Rogers, Bell, fibre, cable and the smaller Canadian providers — our clients are on all of them. What matters is the speed arriving at the TV or box, not the name on the bill. When a picture dies the same week the internet changed, the router is usually the reason: a swapped modem, a new Wi-Fi name, a reboot that put the TV back on the crowded 2.4 GHz band.

The 30 Mbps test people skip

Open the browser on the TV or box itself — not your phone in the kitchen — go to fast.com and read the number. Under 30 Mbps there and everything else is guesswork. A cable from the router ends the problem permanently; the 5 GHz band ends it most of the time.

If you need a new provider

Watch tonight, decide tomorrow

We are a Toronto team and we have been running this service since 2016. If your old provider vanished, the last thing you should do is hand over money to another stranger on the strength of a website. So do it the other way around: the trial is 24 hours, it is free, there is no card, and every channel and the full movie and series library is open for it.

If it holds up, plans are $10 (on 12 months), $15 and $20 a month with no contract. Enhanced adds a free month at 6 months and three free months at 12. If it does not hold up, the trial just ends and you have lost nothing.

Straight answers

When the picture dies

In Toronto and the GTA? Here is how we work locally.

My IPTV stopped working today. Is it me or my provider?+

Check two things in a minute. First, open YouTube or Netflix on the same TV — if they play, your internet is fine. Second, read the message in the app: "expired" or "account not found" points at your provider, while buffering or a black screen usually points at your connection or the app. If the account fails on mobile data as well as on your home Wi-Fi, it is the account.

My IPTV expired but I already paid. What now?+

Give the provider one clear message and a day to answer. If there is no reply, no working website and nobody to phone, treat the money as gone and move — sending another e-transfer to an address that has gone quiet is how people lose twice. Your box still works with another service, so you are not starting from nothing.

My provider shut down. Can I keep my box?+

Almost always, yes. An Android box, XTV, MAG, Formuler, Firestick or Smart TV runs an app, and the app takes new login details. Tell us what you own and we send the steps for that device. There is nothing to return and nothing to throw away.

Does IPTV work with Rogers or Bell internet?+

Yes — our clients are on Rogers, Bell, fibre, cable and the smaller Canadian providers. What matters is that at least 30 Mbps reaches the TV or box itself, not just your phone. If it worked yesterday and stopped today, ask whether anything changed at the router: a swap, a reboot, a new Wi-Fi name or a device pushed onto the crowded 2.4 GHz band.

How quickly can I be watching again?+

A free 24-hour trial is usually set up the same day, and paid accounts are normally active 15 to 20 minutes after payment. If you already have a device, there is nothing to wait for in the post.

Do I have to pay before I know it works?+

No. The 24-hour trial is free and we do not ask for a card to start it. Watch a full evening on it first — that is the point of it, especially if you have just been burned by a service that disappeared.
