Start with the internet, not the TV
Streaming TV only works as well as the connection reaching your screen. Before you think about channels or boxes, make sure your new place has internet installed and working in the room where the TV will go.
You need at least 30 Mbps arriving at the TV or box itself — not just at the modem. Any Toronto-area home internet plan that delivers that speed is fine, whether it's cable, fibre or condo Wi-Fi.
To check, open fast.com in the browser on the device you'll watch on. If the number comes in low, a wired connection from the router to the box usually makes the biggest difference.
- Book your internet install before moving day if you can — it's the long pole.
- Test speed on the actual TV or box, not on your phone across the room.
- Run an Ethernet cable to the TV if the router is far away or the walls are thick.
Decide what you're watching on
You can use a device you already own. Smart TVs, Android boxes, MAG and Formuler boxes, Firesticks, phones and computers all work with our service, so there's no need to buy anything on top of your moving costs.
You will need to be comfortable following a few setup steps. We email instructions for your specific device, and we have written guides on the site for Firestick, Android boxes, MAG, Formuler and Samsung and LG Smart TVs.
If you'd rather skip the setup, we sell the XTV Air Pro box for $165 plus tax. It arrives already set up, carries a 1-year warranty, ships within 24 hours of payment and takes 3–5 business days inside Toronto.

Test before you commit with the free 24-hour trial
Every new household gets a free 24-hour trial, and you don't need to enter a card. Sign up at tdot-media.com/trial and you can see how everything runs on your own internet, in your own living room.
That's the whole point of the trial: your new address is an unknown until you try it. Use the day to check picture quality, try your usual channels and make sure your device and app behave.
We recommend IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate, MYTVOnline, STB Emulator Pro or Smart STB. Other apps may work, but we can't fix problems caused by the app itself.
Find the page for your part of the GTA
We're a Toronto-based team and have been running this service since 2016. If you've landed somewhere specific in the GTA, there's a page for the areas we cover with the details for that spot.
Pick whichever one matches your new address and go from there.

Choosing a plan once you've tested
Standard is $13 a month plus HST with 5,000+ channels, 720p HD and 20,000 movies and series, with new titles added monthly. Premium is $15 a month plus HST with 10,000+ channels, Full HD and 30,000 movies and series, added weekly. Enhanced is $20 a month plus HST with 20,000+ channels, Full HD and 4K and 50,000 movies and series, added daily.
Those three plans each cover one device. If different people in the house want their own screens, the Family package is $15 per device per month plus HST and covers 2 to 4 devices at the same time.
There are no contracts — you can pay for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The cheapest way to watch is Standard on 12 months at $10 a month, which works out to $120 for the year plus HST and saves $36. On Enhanced, 6 months includes 1 free month and 12 months includes 3 free months.
Paying, activation and getting help
You can pay by Interac e-Transfer, which is set up for auto-deposit so there's no security question to send, or by Visa or Mastercard.
After you order, our team emails your login details. Activation usually takes 15–20 minutes after payment, and occasionally a few hours when we're busy — check your spam folder if nothing has arrived. If it still hasn't, see tdot-media.com/tutorials/no-login-email.
We're fully online, with no storefront to visit. Email support@tdot-media.com, or call or text 647-424-4070 any time; an AI assistant answers and the tech team replies by email.
Common questions
What internet speed do I need at my new place?+
At least 30 Mbps reaching the TV or box you watch on. Cable, fibre or condo Wi-Fi all work as long as that speed actually arrives at the device — test it by opening fast.com in that device's browser.
Can I try it before I pay anything?+
Yes. Every new household gets a free 24-hour trial with no card needed at tdot-media.com/trial. It's the best way to see how it performs on your own internet before you commit.
Can everyone in the house watch at once?+
The Standard, Premium and Enhanced plans each cover one device. For more than one screen at the same time, the Family package is $15 per device per month plus HST and covers 2 to 4 devices.
What if I change my mind after ordering?+
If you change your mind before your account is activated, we refund you in full. Once the account has been activated there are no refunds, which is why we offer the free trial first.
